HAYDEN BARRINGTON - OUR ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
After honing his skills at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, Hayden discovered his love for consort singing, oratorios, and music education. He has worked with renowned musical groups such as the Australian Chamber Orchestra and the Australian Brandenburg Choir and is a proud member of The Song Company. As a soloist, Hayden has performed across Greater Sydney and Canberra in numerous oratorios.
In addition to his performance accomplishments, Hayden is also a voice teacher and has inspired countless musicians through his work as a choral director over the past decade.
Hayden established the Chamber Choir at the Wollongong Conservatorium and has been its Director since its inception in 2022, where he brings his passion and expertise to establish a new era of choral excellence in the Illawarra.
Hayden is delighted to be appointed as Artistic Director for the Sutherland Shire Choral Society in 2025, taking their rich 50-year history and steering the ensemble into the future.
